The rescue operation for children and their coach blocked in a cave in northern Thailand has been successfully ended. All members of the school football team together with the adult are lifted to the surface. This is reported by Segodnya with reference to the Spring News channel.
On the third day of the rescue work, it was possible to get only two boys to the surface. All children lifted to the surface to date, are in the hospital. According to local doctors, the rescued children will need to be kept in a medical institution about seven days before full rehabilitation.
We recall that on June 23, 12 schoolchildren from 11 to 16 years, along with their 25-year-old coach disappeared in the cave Khao Luang, which is in the north of Thailand. Since then, local rescuers and volunteers from different countries, including divers from Ukraine, have been taking part in their rescue.
