In the morning, on May 15, the Molodezhnaya Square turned into an exhibition center – utility companies showed equipment serving the city to the residents of Druzhkovka.
More than 30 types of equipment were presented by seven utilities, among them the Utility Transport Enterprise of Druzhkovka, “Gorsvet”, water service company, heating network, gas station, “Komservis” and “Spectr”. Everyone was able see street vacuum cleaning machines, waste removal vehicles, elevators, tractors, emergency cars, string trimmers. Everyone saw it just walking along the square.
“Spectr” Utility Company brought not only technical equipment and transport to the exhibition, but also introduced the mini version of the installed well and cart which will be established in a larger scale in a restored recreation park.
The exhibition was visited by the city government. Valery Gnatenko, the mayor of the city, and his deputies talked to the employees of the companies and learned from the first mouths about the problems of the utility providers.
Summarizing the visit to the exhibition of municipal equipment, the mayor said:
- First of all, I would like to thank all employees of utility companies for their assistance in preparing the city for the May holidays. Unfortunately, salaries of utility providers are now lower than the average ones. Companies should consider recalculating tariffs, which will include the indexation of salaries, in order to provide workers with a decent salary. Looking at the amount of equipment on the balance of companies, it is safe to say that these efforts are sufficient for Druzhkovka.
