That was stated by Borys Kolesnikov, the Prime Minister of the opposition government, during his working trip to the city of Priluki in the Chernigov region.
According to the politician, it is impossible to stop unemployment and outflow of skilled workers by administrative measures, since the development of small and medium-sized businesses is achieved by completely different mechanisms.
“The first is affordable credit. The second is professional training of specialists. We need to master the next stage in order that people do not go abroad, but remain in the country. We need finished products that will be affordable for Ukrainians. This is more complicated. We need affordable loans for small and medium-sized businesses, because no administrative measures will stop unemployment and outflow of skilled workers,” – Borys Kolesnikov said.
In Priluki, the Prime Minister of the opposition government visited the “Alitony” footware factory. According to Borys Kolesnikov, the work at this enterprise is set at the highest level, and the production of the factory is in demand in Western Europe and the USA.
“This is a remarkable enterprise that is fully integrated into the global production chain. Someone in the United States makes a sole; someone in Italy makes a skin. Here, everything is got into shape, then goes to the world's logistics centers. The factory of Priluki really became a part of world cooperation,” – Borys Kolesnikov added.
He said that the city of Priluki was chosen for production, because earlier there was a shoe business. “Italian partners hoped for quality personnel with many years of experience and did not lose,” – the opposition politician noted.
According to him, the reason investors choose Ukraine is that wages are lower here than in China. “This is a huge minus. China produces goods in its final form and sells them both on the domestic market and abroad. In this chain, Ukraine, unfortunately, does not bring to the end this production for today. But I think that in the next year or two there will be enterprises in Ukraine that will bring it to the end. And the world market will appreciate that the products manufactured in Ukraine are much better than those produced by many countries. Including leaders. We are not going to produce Mercedes or Rolls-Royce. We will release what was always released, but by modern technology and using advanced technologies,” – the opposition Prime Minister emphasized.
