This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Opposition government Borys Kolesnikov on the air of the television channel 112 Ukraine on Monday, March 12.
“Ukraine does not have any resources to block the construction of the Nordstream. Today we are talking about the fact that the assistance in the amount of $ 1.2 billion will be provided for us. This is approximately 36 billion UAH. In the transit of gas from 2019, we will lose 100 billion UAH annually. This is almost four billion dollars,” – Borys Kolesnikov said.
He noted that relations between Ukraine and Europe are built according to a scheme that could be conditionally called “you sold us raw materials; you guys are good, keep the candy as a loan”.
“Now, for example, Ukrainian livestock rearing cannot come out to the European market due to quotas. These quotas are chosen by our leading companies in 15 days! Do not borrow money for us, but open up the markets. Create fair competition, and do not squeeze Ukraine. No juicer squeezes so much, as now the association with the European Union squeezes us. We are talking about its economic part,” – Borys Kolesnikov said.
