The trip on a motorcycle for the next portion of alcohol ended in an accident. The driver with numerous injuries is hospitalized.
According to the Police Department of Pokrovsk, a 42-year-old resident of the village of Novoshakhovo got behind the wheel in a state of intoxication. According to the victim, he had been celebrating the Trinity Sunday; alcohol was over, so he had to go to the store. The man did not want to walk, thinking that he would be faster on the motorcycle.
However, the degrees which he drank turned against the drunk driver’s idea. Failed to control the car, he fell off the bike at a speed. Doctors who had arrived at the place delivered the victim to the local hospital with numerous fractures.
The police qualified this fact under Part 1 of Art. 286 “Violation of traffic safety rules by persons driving vehicles” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
