At the Mayorsk Checkpoint in the Donetsk region there was a training to eliminate the consequences of radiation emergencies.
That was reported in the Main Office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region.
Rescuers have mastered the radiation control of citizens and vehicles crossing the checkpoint, as well as the procedure for joint actions in case of detection of radiation contamination of vehicles.
“The purpose of the training was to master the interaction and joint actions of the forces and means involved in the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repel and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, to respond to possible radiation and chemical emergencies” – the Main Office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region noted.
In general, the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service and the State Fiscal Service took part in the exercises.
