Vadim Chernysh, the head of the Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories, said that еру flooding of mines caused the subsidence of ground by 20-25 centimeters in the Donetsk region. This situation threatens the population of residential areas and the infrastructure of the city. This is reported by Ukrinform.
According to the minister, the ground subsidence in the territory of Donetsk was recorded during satellite-based monitoring of the region. Chernysh stressed that ground sunk an average of 20-25 centimeters. It was caused by the flooding of mines in the area.
“In our opinion, this can threaten residential areas and social infrastructure in general, it's not just about the industrial infrastructure,” – the minister said.
