Ivica Pirich, the President of the Kiev “Arsenal” said that the Gunners will be renamed from the next season. The club will be called “Arsenal CSKA”.
Pirich said that the club had signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He wrote about this on Facebook: “Today, Arsenal (Kiev) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. From next year, the football club will be called the CSKA Arsenal.
Now the soldiers of Ukraine got their team, we will continue to do our best to make a strong Football Academy and raise the Ukrainian football.

Earlier Igor Dulyay, the assistant coach of FC Shakhtar Paulo Fonseca was named among the candidates for the post of coach of Arsenal.
