Today, on March 15, at a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) Volodymyr Groysman, the Prime Minister initiated a maximum quality review of road repairs.
He meant especially those that had been repaired past year, in 2017. The head of the government demanded that the leaders of those contract organizations be brought to justice, which had made the repairs poorly.
Groysman emphasized that in order to make a quality review it is necessary to establish an inspection plan and a working group for its implementation. And as soon as weather permits, it is necessary to immediately start checking. If any failing appears, then the repairs must be made anew, but at the expense of funds of contractors who made this blunder.
The participants of the event determined that this year it was planned to spend 45.7 billion hryvnias for renovation of roads in Ukraine. Works will be carried out on 218 road objects. And in Mirnograd (the Donetsk region) the repairing works have already been started.
