Alexander Kuts, the new head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, told reporters that he would not publish an income declaration.
During the conversation with journalists of ZI, the new head of the Donetsk region, Alexander Kuts, told that he would not declare his income, since he was an active member of the Security Service of Ukraine. Information about the property will be closed to the public in order to protect his family.
This rule does not violate the law, since the general of the Security Service General of Ukraine, Aleksandr Kuts, is still an active member of the special service.
This information was confirmed by Elena Gitlyanskaya, the spokesperson of the Security Service of Ukraine. She stressed that Alexander Kuts was seconded by the Security Service of Ukraine to exercise the authority of the head of our region and herewith maintaining his military service.
It should be reminded that it was impossible to promulgate declarations of the Security Service's employees after the Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal in January refused to uphold the claim demanding declassification of the income declarations of the SBU’s employees.
