“Phantom” Special Unit members seize money almost every day at the checkpoints for access/egress in the Donetsk region. At the end of March, at “Majorsk” checkpoint there was a man, who travelled from temporarily uncontrolled territory. He hid a bundle of money in his things.
During a thorough search the fiscals found 13 thousand dollars and 7 thousand UAH. And on the very last day of the month, a resident of Donetsk tried to transport 400 thousand UAH through the same checkpoint. He managed to hide them under his clothes.
And the 1st of April became not the Laughter Day for the resident of Shakhtersk. He also wanted to transport over 400 thousand UAH from the uncontrolled territory through checkpoint, hiding money in his foreign car. Money was found during the search.
The acts of violations, and hundreds of thousands UAH seized from the violators were handed over to policemen by “Phantom” Special Unit members. Law enforcers will decide how to punish those guilty.
