The Lugansk region received humanitarian supplies from France.
That was reported on Tuesday, June 19, on Facebook of the Operation of the United Forces.
Under the strategic initiative of the command of the United forces “Help East” the first shipment of several tens of tons of humanitarian supplies took place.
Bales with diapers for adults of the “Hartmann” Company were provided by the “Medical and Charitable Assistance France-Ukraine” association. The cargo transportation was provided free of charge by the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine.
The program was founded on the initiative of Sergei Naiev, the commander of the United forces, Lieutenant-General, and with the support of the Lugansk Regional Civil-Military Administration.
“This is only the first step in the form of assistance with high-quality and extremely necessary things for medical institutions in the Lugansk and the Donetsk regions, nursing homes in the front zone, and for people with disabilities. In the beginning of July, another truck with medical equipment for the hospitals of the Donbass is planned to be delivered,” – Alexander Golodnyuk, the Major General, deputy commander of the United forces for psychological and moral support, said.
Earlier, Belarus sent humanitarian supplies to Ukraine. The humanitarian cargo included refrigerators, food and furniture.
