On the average, cases of industrial injuries occur once a month. Over the past year, the city has 12 victims. One of the cases led to a lethal outcome.
This topical subject was considered by the members of the executive committee at the regular meeting. According to the information provided by the local Social Services Office, during 2017 in Druzhkovka there were 12 cases of industrial injuries, seven of them resulted in capacity loss, and one case resulted in death of the victim.
The same result was recorded in 2016; that is, 12 industrial injuries. Then, five employees of city enterprises lost their working capacity, and one case led to fatal accident.
“Analysis of the causes of industrial injuries indicates that the main causes of injuries in the workplace are non-compliance of the technological process, non-compliance with safety requirements, failure to comply with labor protection instructions, violation of safety requirements during the operation of equipment and vehicles,” – the head of Social Services Office Galina Nebogatikova said.
During the past year, occupational diseases were not identified in Druzhkovka.
