Vladimir Litvin, who is the third person involved in the so-called Avakov’s backpacks case, declared his desire to take all the blame. Thus, the proceedings regarding the son of the Minister of Internal Affairs Alexander Avakov and former deputy minister Sergei Chebotar will be closed. Such a statement was made by representatives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.

The department reports that on the evening of Wednesday, July 11, Vasily Krichun, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, contacted the detective. He stated that the criminal proceedings against the son of the head of the Minister of Internal Affairs Alexander Avakov and former deputy minister Sergei Chebotar had been closed.

“Regarding the third suspect, the representative of the winning firm, which was supposed to supply these backpacks, he put forward a version of a single-handed criminal offense,” – the NABU said.
