For the period from 3 to 7 July in Ukraine, 1021 people became ill with measles. Such a message was made by the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine. This is reported by UNN.
“Over the 27th week of 2018, 1021 people became ill with measles: 416 adults and 605 children. This is 9% more than last week,” – the message said.
In total, since the beginning of this year in Ukraine, measles affected 25 008 people – 10,085 adults and 14,923 children.
The greatest number of cases of measles in such regions as Lviv (in total 4412 people: 1377 adults and 3035 children), Zakarpattya (in total 2840 people: 521 adults and 2319 children), Ivano-Frankivsk (in total 2534 people: 728 adults and 1806 children), Odesa (in total 1968 people: 968 adults and 1000 children), Kiev (in total 1777 people: 1092 adults and 685 children) and Ternopil region (in total 1263 people: 487 adults and 766 children.
Also, 12 people, including 8 children, died due to measles from the beginning of the year in Ukraine.
