In Thailand, a rescue operation continues in the flooded cave Khao Luang. For two days, rescuers are evacuating the blocked members of the children's football team and their assistant coach. At the moment, they managed to lift 8 teenagers to the surface. The divers are returning to the flooded cave. Four children and the assistant coach are still there.

The rescue operation lasts for the second day. During this time, the divers made several dives and returned from the bottom of the cave with the children. In the evening, on July 8, the operation was suspended for 12 hours. After the break, the divers again returned to the cave.
The governor of Chiang Rai said that the rescuers were returning to the cave, where five people still remained. He also added that the water level in the cave decreased slightly. This, as well as good weather, made it possible to begin the second stage of the operation before the appointed time.
