By order of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control popular pills from cough “Ambroxol”, manufactured in the pharmaceutical company Lekhim-Kharkov, were banned in Ukraine.
According to the press service of the company, the reason for the ban is that this medical drug (series 020315, Ambroxol, pills 0.03 № 20) was manufactured for Uzbekistan. It is not even registered in Ukraine.
In addition to Ambroxol, the sale of well-known drugs of the same manufacturer as the antihistamine “Dexamethasone” (solution for injection 4 mg/ml 1 ml of № 5 series 030315 and 210714) and the antibiotic “Ceftriaxone” (injectable powder series 750814 / 4040450, 760814/4040459 and 740814/4040449) was also banned.
In pharmacies it is forbidden to sell (for the same reason) a very popular in our country, the drug “Nitroglycerin” (pills 0.5 mg № 40, series No. 12060315), manufactured at the Private Joint Stock Company “Technologist”. Therefore, the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control obliged the administration of all pharmacies to check whether they have the drugs of the above-mentioned series.
If any, immediately remove it from the sale and destroy it.
