Vladimir Groysman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, said that the Cabinet of Ministers allocated 12 billion UAH for the support of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The funds will be used to build new facilities and promote business in the region.

The premier added that he was dissatisfied with the current situation in the Donbass, in particular, how these issues were being resolved in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. According to Groysman, a combined approach is needed to achieve the goals.
“This year, we are allocating 12 billion UAH to these two areas. This is approximately 2,000 facilities that need to be built. But we need to think not of the categories of objects, but of specific things that affect the quality of life of Ukrainians who live there. So, it will be kindergarten so that one can have a baby. Or it will be a school, or a new road – that's what we’re focusing on,” – Groysman said.
