Temporary restrictions for the population on the territory of OUF in the Donbass can be imposed to preserve the lives of citizens.

This was stated in an interview of UNN by Sergei Nayev, the commander of the United forces.

The report says that restrictions are imposed for a period, as long as there is a danger or the need to block the area.

“A special order in certain areas or localities is imposed by my decision to preserve the life and health of citizens or for special events. For example, it is done during the intensification of hostilities in a particular area or for the units' movements. Restrictions are imposed temporarily, as long as there is a danger or need in blocking the area. Under such conditions, the “red” mode is declared, according to which only persons and means of transport of the United forces can enter and leave. There is no question of issuing any permits to the population,” – Nayev said.

He also noted that during the announcement of the “yellow” mode, only measures to control the movement of citizens and vehicles are being strengthened.

It is noted that the “red” mode was announced several times “due to the fulfillment of tasks on designation of the United forces’ units”.
