A married couple was detained in the DNR. The couple was engaged in the sale of expired sweets. This is reported by the Ministry of the Interior of the DNR.
Entrepreneurs tried to sell spoiled confectionery products. They were looking for commercial partners who want to engage in a “profitable” business for the selling of sweets, offering quite favorable conditions.
The witness in the case said that the couple had insisted on the safety and quality of the product. When asked about the origin, they mentioned the confectionery factory. But nothing is known about how the products had found their way to the entrepreneurs.
It was also reported that law enforcement officers had seized about six tons of expired products. They expired a few years ago. Sweets were stored on the floor in the garage box.
