In Kramatorsk, there was an opening ceremony of the first inclusive group on the basis of one of the largest pre-school educational institutions of the city.
The inclusive group was created due to the initiative and funding of the Save the Children NGO with the support of the Kramatorsk City Council, the press service reported.
The Kindergarten № 91 is located in the old part of the city. Here there are more than 330 children not only from this part of Kramatorsk, but also from nearby villages. Now, on the basis of this kindergarten, children with special needs can be trained along with healthy children.
The cost of construction work to create a group, sleeping rooms, locker rooms, stillroom and toilet was 439 thousand UAH. Complete furnishing of furniture and soft inventory is 115 444 UAH. In May, 120 thousand UAH was allocated by the decision of the city council for the new inclusive group for the establishment of a playground and the purchase of a pavilion.
It is worth noting that inclusive classes have been successfully working in Kramatorsk for several years, but the children's group for preschool children has appeared for the first time. During the opening ceremony, Andrei Pankov, the mayor of the city, promised that that group would not be the only one, because already there was a work on creating the inclusive group on the basis of kindergarten № 92.
