On the air of the “112 Ukraine” channel, Pavel Rosenko, the Vice Prime Minister, said that the government will raise the minimum wage to 4,200 UAH before the end of the year. The official is sure that there are all opportunities for this in the country, as the state budget revenues have already positive dynamics today.
According to the Vice Prime Minister, the amount necessary for such an increase will be found. If the salary was raised from July 1, as it was planned in the state budget, then it would take 30 billion UAH. And since the minimum wage will be raised later, the amount will be lower.
The Vice Prime Minister did not specify the exact date. However, he stressed that with an increase in the minimum, the salaries to teachers will be raised again. As well as salaries to doctors and cultural workers.
