Over the past two years, 1,300,000 Ukrainians have moved to work abroad, as it was reported by pauluskp.com. More than 300 thousand moved to Russia and a million to other countries. The biggest number of Ukrainians is in Poland, where it is easier to find work.

43% leave to work illegally, using a visa-free regime - from one month up to three they are earning money, then come home, and so forth and so on. Many employers in Europe accept this scheme; it is a continuous turnover-line according to a previously agreed schedule. It is suitable for everyone. Sooner or later these people will “cling” in Europe and stay there.

The remaining 57% have already received a status, a permanent job and, most likely, will never return to Ukraine. They may return only on a visit to show up before less fortunate relatives and friends, enhancing their desire to leave too.

16% of migrants have higher education, 30% finished only high school. That is, they go mainly to physically demanding or low-paid work, according to Western standards, considering it more worthy than in Ukraine, where they can earn very shameful pennies.

70% of migrants are men. There is a greater number of women in Ukraine; and men continue to leave, leaving their families.

The population of Ukraine is 45 million, according to optimistic estimates. It turns out that every year, a half of Ukrainians run away from the country.

And if we take into account that we have 20 million of working-age people, then every year we get a loss of about 3%.

Moreover, out of 45 million, only a few million are listed, but in reality they have long fled the country, even before the war.

It is possible to work and earn money in Ukraine in places. There is even a shortage of labor in some industries, but people still leave, because they understand that everything they earned can be withdrawn at any time. The people do not see the point of investing their time and effort in their own country, since they do not trust it and are afraid of it. There is an understanding that Ukraine will “throw down” its citizens; and the closer the pension, the more this understanding grows into absolute certainty.
