The Ministry of Health of Ukraine, following the abolition of regular medical examinations, suggests canceling annual medical examinations of public employees.
That was written on Facebook by Ulyana Suprun, acting Minister of Health.
“We sent the draft order for signing. It repeals the annual preventive medical examinations of public employees. Providing the approval of the document with the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, we will lose one more bureaucratic barrier. Public employees will be able to consult on the health status with their family doctor and undergo really necessary examinations like everyone else,” – Suprun noted.
As is known, since 2003 all public employees must undergo annual medical examinations in medical institutions to which their institution is attached. To date, specialists of the Presidential Administration, the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers, ministries and other central executive bodies, employees of local state administrations must undergo medical examinations.
