The Verkhovna Rada did not include in the agenda the draft decree on banning the broadcast of the World Cup in Ukraine, which would take place in the Russian Federation from June 14 to July 15.

This was reported on Facebook by Olga Chervakova, the People's Deputy.

The deputy noted that insufficient number of deputies voted for inclusion of the draft in agenda.

“The draft decree on banning the broadcast of the World Cup in Ukraine was not included in the agenda. There were not enough votes. The next plenary week is football already,” – the People's Deputy noted.

Earlier, the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada recommended banning the broadcasting of the World Cup 2018. By the way, the governments of Great Britain, Denmark and Australia announced a diplomatic boycott of the World Cup, which would be held in Russia.
