The UEFA did not allow playing matches of the qualification of the European League in Mariupol.

Andrei Sanin, the vice-president of the football club, said that in the second qualifying round of the Europa League, “Mariupol” will be taken by the Swedish “Djurgården” in Odessa on August 2, at the “Chernomorets” stadium.
“The formal reason for the refusal was the decision of the UEFA, dated 2014. They say, there is no Mariupol stadium in the list of stadiums in Ukraine, where it is possible to play European cup matches, and it is possible to play only at “Arena-Lviv”, “NSC Olimpiyskiy”, “Chernomorets”, “Dnepr-Arena”, “Metalist” and the stadium in Alexandria,” – Sanin said.
On June 20, there was a draw for the second qualifying round of the Europa League, following which the Swedish “Djurgården” became the rival of the “Mariupol”.
