There is no need to wait for warmth in Ukraine neither today, nor tomorrow. Moreover, it will be cold throughout our country. This was stated on the site “Segodnya” by Nikolay Kulbida, the head of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
He gave an example of five years ago. Then, in 2013, in the twentieth of March, during bad weather Ukraine also was covered with snow. However, the spring will come; come exactly in a week.
And, to be more exact, it will only get warmer next weekend, March 23-24. It will not be hot, but the daytime temperature will rise above zero. At first it will be warm in the western regions of the country, then in the north and in the center of Ukraine. And only then warm air will come to the southern regions and to the east.
But the snow will stop already tomorrow, on Tuesday, March 20. But there is no need to be afraid of severe frosts either. The average temperature this week will range from 2-8 degrees below zero.
The employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine warn of snowfalls, snowstorms and ice slick on the roads of western, central and southern regions of Ukraine. In the east and south-east of the country, more precisely, in Kherson, Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions there will be wind gusts of 15-20 m / s. But it will be today, on March 19.
