To ensure the most comfortable crossing of the border line at the Gnutovo, Novotroitskoye, Mayorsk and Mariinka checkpoints, there are round the clock aid stations and heating stations for the population. This is reported on the website of the Main Directorate of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region.
The report says that at each of the aid stations there are on duty representatives of the State Emergency Service, who provide the necessary assistance to citizens, as well as conduct information and explanatory work on security issues. Rescuers provide people with warm tea, blankets, give advice on how to behave when detecting explosive objects and other emergency situations.
It is reported that only for the past day 57 people turned for help, 21 of them are elderly and two children. Since the beginning of the operation of such stations 87,297 cases of assistance to citizens have been recorded, among which there were 16,550 elderly people and 6,008 children. 16 people are involved in the work of aid stations for the population.
