On Friday, January 11, a storm warning was announced in the country. Weather forecasters say about the deterioration of weather conditions in Ukraine.
It is reported by the press service of the Ukrainian hydrometeorological center.
“Today, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in Ukraine, except for the west and north. In the central and eastern regions will be sleet and rain, in some places ice, in Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Donetsk and Lugansk regions significant wet snow, (increase in snow cover 10-15 cm). In the southern areas, precipitation is mostly in the form of rain. There are icy conditions on the roads of the country, except for the south,” – the statement said.
Weather forecasters note that the complications of weather conditions correspond to the first (yellow) danger level.
