The Ukrainian Chess Championship among juniors under 20 years ended in Kramatorsk, in which 41 juniors-boys and 14 juniors-girls from Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lugansk, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Nikolaev, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions took part.
The chess players of Kramatorsk, the players of the chess club named after Alexander Momot, won three medals. Elena Martynkova became a Blitz champion and finished second in rapid chess. Semyon Mitusov finished second in classic chess, according to the Humanitarian Department.
The competitions were held on the Swiss system in 9 rounds separately in three chess disciplines.
