Information on the average salary for the region can always be found on the website of the regional statistical office. At the end of each month there is already an average amount of payment for labor in the previous month. So, in July, working citizens of the Donetsk region earned 9764 UAH on average.
Among the regions this is the highest figure in Ukraine, only Kievans overtake us, on average they earned 13,836 UAH this summer. In our region, the highest in July was the work of factory workers, where coke and process petroleum products are made. They were paid 13,110 UAH.
The second place in terms of salary in the Donetsk region in July was occupied by government decision-makers – 13 018 UAH. The third place was occupied by steel workers, having earned on the average 12 611 UAH. Commercial workers were paid 12 456 UAH, financiers – 11 109 UAH, miners – 10 955 UAH.
A little more than 10 000 UAH were paid to transport workers and mechanical engineers. From 8 000 to 10 000 UAH was the average salary in July for chemists and builders, from 6 000 to 8 000 UAH were paid to teachers and agricultural workers. Physicians, workers of social services and light industry earned from 5 000 to 6 000 UAH.
