Bad weather conditions can cause a rise in price of food. Alexei Doroshenko, the general director of the Ukrainian Retail Association, spoke about the difficulties with food delivery.
He noted that prices can rise for potatoes, carrots, onions, cabbage, beets, greens, mushrooms, tomatoes of domestic production, apples and pears.
According to Alexei Doroshenko, prices will rise firstly in markets, however, the increase in prices of products can be observed in some stores. In particular, price increases will be observed in Donetsk, Lugansk, Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.
