In the first half of 2018, the Russian Gazprom supplied 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas in the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions that are not controlled by Ukraine. It is 10.4% more than in the first half of 2017 (slightly less than 1.4 bcm) and 25.3% more than in the first half of 2016.

Taking into account the previously published data, in the second quarter of 2018, the deliveries of the Russian gas monopoly to the territories beyond Ukraine's control amounted to 292 million cubic meters, exceeding the same indicator of the previous year (280 million cubic meters) by 4.3%.
For example, in 2016, Gazprom announced the delivery of 2.4 billion cubic meters of gas to the territories of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions that are not controlled by Ukraine. It is 40.6% or 0.7 bcm more than in 2015.
In turn, the leadership of Gazprom repeatedly stated that gas supplies to the Separate Districts of Donetsk and Lugansk Regions continue on the basis of the contract with Naftogaz in 2009.
In February this year, Gazprom said that Naftogaz's debt for gas supplies from 2013 to the first quarter of 2017 is $ 3.3 billion.
In turn, Naftogaz has repeatedly said that it would pay Gazprom only the ordered and accepted natural gas supplies, while the reportable gas supplies to the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions do not belong to such.
As you know, at the end of February this year, Gazprom stopped billing Naftogaz for gas supplies to the occupied territories of the Donbass.
