Parents of first-graders of Mariupol will have to pay a large amount of money, even if they plan to purchase clothes and supplies at the lowest prices, Dnews reported.
According to local residents, market prices do not differ much from store prices, but quality of clothes can be many times better in the stores. Therefore, an approximate list of costs was compiled at store prices.
So, in order to dress a girl, parents have to buy a skirt, for which they need to give about 350 UAH, elegant and casual blouses – 350 more UAH, knee socks – 30 UAH, bows – 80 UAH, tights – 100 UAH, shoes – 250 UAH. In addition, we need pants (230), a wind jacket or a sweater jacket (200), sneakers (180), a sports uniform (400).
Total, in order to dress a small schoolgirl will have to pay 2 170 UAH.
Almost the same amount will be for clothes for the boy.
As for the stationary, it is also expensive, almost just like clothes.
Prices for schoolbags are different. The best option in the store of children's goods in terms of quality-to-price ratio costs from 600 UAH. Pencil case is 90 UAH, grade book is 40 UAH, copybooks, pens, rulers, pencils, erasers, paints and other things will cost 400 UAH.
The total amount for the stationary is 1 130 UAH per schoolchild.
“And this is only the beginning, because school will begin collections for school and class funds, printed copybooks and other edifying materials, and in a couple of months one will need warm jackets, caps and boots,” – the mother of the future first-grader told the correspondents.
