On the evening of August 28, the Ukrainian side of the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported that kindergarten had come under fire in the Donetsk region. During the shelling, a woman born in 1990 was injured.
The watch-dog group, which had arrived at the scene, found out that as a result of shelling in the direction of the village of Verkhnetoretskoe on August 27, a bullet with a caliber of 5.45 mm fell into the territory of the kindergarten “Topolek”, where it wounded a citizen born in 1990.
Igor Stokoz, the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, explained on his Facebook page that a young mother, who had come to a kindergarten for a child, stopped a bullet.
