The reconstruction of the "Mariinka"Checkpoint in the Donetsk region was completed on September 17.
This was announced on Facebook by Alexander Kuts, the chairman of the Donetsk Civil-Military Regional Administration.
“The work on the renovation of the “Mariinka” Checkpoint was completed,” – Kuts said.
It is noted that two waiting rooms were installed at the checkpoint, equipped with ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems; information stands and visual display units were also installed.
Also, a borehole was built at the checkpoint and water was supplied to the sanitary modules.
As you know, the construction of the checkpoint was carried out at the expense of the regional budget – this, according to Kuts, took 11.3 million UAH.Kuts said that the "Mariinka" Checkpoint is a pilot project. It is planned to equip in the same way the rest of checkpoints operating in the Donbass, such as Novotroitskoye, Gnutovo and Mayorsk.
