It is planned to purchase at least 45 one-room apartments for orphans in Mariupol. For this, 16 million UAH were allocated from the regional and municipal budgets, the press service of the City Council reports.
However, the head of the city property department, Sergey Marchuk, said that there were difficulties with the purchase of apartments, as there were not enough apartments for sale.
“There are 110 orphans in the queue for apartments in Mariupol. But unfortunately, there are not enough people willing to sell an apartment to the city,” – Sergey Marchuk said.
He also noted that the city intended to purchase only one-room apartments, in which repairs had been made and there was furniture.
Anyone wishing to sell an apartment to the city can leave a request at the Center. After the selection of the commission, the city will conclude a contract of sale with the seller. Applications are accepted until November 24th. We recall that the city council works directly with the owner of the apartment without intermediaries and takes all the procedures for the paperwork.
