Since June 8, Ukrzaliznytsya (State Administration of the Railroad Transport of Ukraine “Ukrzaliznytsya”) has restored the movement of suburban trains on the route Mariupol - Volnovakha. The restored suburban trains run between the cities.
The trains with 15 years of service after major repairs were launched on the route. In railroad cars, passenger seats were repaired and painted, windows were replaced, sanitary conveniences were also repaired.
Each day, two trains with six railroad cars will be running between the stations. The railroad cars will be able to transport about 800 passengers at a time. The train from Mariupol departs at 5:40, 8:15, 14:28, 17:30 and 20:30, and from Volnovakha – at 5:00, 8:10, 10:40, 16:57 and 20:10.
The journey time between stations is 1 hour 55 minutes. The cost of the full ticket is 15 UAH. There are stops along the route at the stations of Sartana, Aslanovo, Kalchik and Karan.
