Over the past weekend, the OSCE SMM has recorded 207 explosions in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
This is stated in the published report of the Mission.
“Between the evening of August 17 and the evening of August 18 in the Donetsk region, the Special Monitoring Mission noted an increase in the number of ceasefire violations, recording, among other things, a similar number of explosions, compared with the previous reporting period (115 explosions),” – the report says.
For a day, from the evening of August 18 to the evening of August 19, the SMM recorded a decrease in the number of such violations (about 80 explosions).
In particular, in the Donetsk region, the ceasefire violations are described in the area of the Donetsk filtering station, Mayorsk, Pishchevik, Svetlodarsk and Krasnogorovka.
“Between the evening of August 17 and the evening of August 18 in the Lugansk region, the Special Monitoring Mission noted an increase in the number of ceasefire violations, including 10 explosions, compared with the previous reporting period (no ceasefire violations),” – the report says.
For a day, from the evening of August 18 to the evening of August 19, the SMM recorded a decrease in the number of such violations (two explosions). The violations were recorded in Popasnaya, Zolotoye and Stanitsa Luganskaya.
