A man found a firearm in the backseat of his car. Working as a taxi driver, the 21-year-old resident of Pokrovsk decided that one of his passengers could have left the gun in the car. The taxi driver decided to deliver dangerous object to law enforcement officers. He himself brought it to the police station and told the police that the weapon did not belong to him. This was reported by the police station of Pokrovsk.
The seized gun has already been sent for examination. The police identify the owner of the weapon and conduct an investigation into the discovery of the gun in a taxi service vehicle.
Also, the police recall that the voluntary surrender of weapons and ammunition does not entail criminal liability under Art. 263.
Earlier it was reported that two residents of Pokrovsk became victims of a swindler from Mirnograd.
