Today in our society there is a sharp decline in the level of trust to the patrol police. According to a sociological survey, over the year, the indicator of public confidence to law enforcement officers fell by 24%. Sociologists point out that it was the patrol police that broke all records for the fall in people's confidence. Therefore, in Druzhkovka it was decided to correct this situation radically and introduce a project with the participation of the youth movement of the future police. It is called “I am the police of the future” and is implemented by the UN Development Program in Ukraine with the financial support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This is reported by Ilya Zlobin – the moderator of the project “I am the police of the future.”
The project is being implemented with the help of public organizations, the police of Druzhkovka and the city council. But its main characters are young people from the Future Police League and students. They do not tolerate discrimination in schools, family and society; they think two generations ahead and want to change the world and the country for the better.
Project participants will be trained to help them gain leadership skills, disseminate information and form public inquiries to the patrol police.
