Public activists believe that Petro Poroshenko undeservedly awarded the former head of the state administration.

The latest information about the awarding of Pavel Zhebrivsky, the former head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the Fifth class caused public outcry. The activists of the Donetsk region believe that the President publicly expressed disregard for the civil society and independent media of our region.

That was written by Stanislav Fedorchuk, the head of the board of the NGO “Ukrainian People's Council of the Donetsk and Lugansk region”, and the famous political scientist. He and his supporters believe that the governor did not deserve such a high award.

The NGO “Ukrainian People's Council of the Donetsk and Lugansk region” put forward the initiative to check the activities of Pavel Zhebrivsky by the representatives of NABU.

In order to hold the chairman of the Donetsk Civil-Military Administration to account for his actions, the public representatives wrote an appeal to the President of Ukraine, to the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, to the Verkhovna Rada and the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, demanding an independent audit of activities of the Donetsk Regional Civil-Military Administration and its chairman Pavel Zhebrivsky.

- Zhebrivsky did not become the chief of millions of inhabitants of the Donetsk region: neither for settlers, nor for residents of the front zone. He became an official; he was dealing only with his own affairs in this post. As a result – the theft of millions of UAH, unfinished facilities in the region, unresolved problems of people in the “gray” zone, – Stanislav Fedorchuk said.

The appeal centers around that fact that the cost of projects from 5 million unreasonably turned into 20-50 million due to the fact that in the regional state administration there is a single regional department for holding tenders, which is not provided by law.

So far, the collection of signatures continues. This appeal will be given to the President of Ukraine and to the competent authorities of Europe and the USA.
