People's Deputies passed the Law No. 7304. It allows internally displaced persons who have a residence permit in the uncontrolled territory of the Donbass and the Crimea to become registered in the cities of Ukraine.
Information about this is published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The report indicates that 244 people's deputies voted for the draft law “On changes to the law “On Social Housing Fund”.
Now it's possible for settlers to be registered for social housing who, during the years of armed conflict in the Donbass, could not buy a new home. It is noted that the availability of housing beyond the border line (whole or destroyed due to hostilities) will not be taken into account.
The main condition: families of internally displaced persons, whose income for the previous year could not cover the subsistence level and rental of housing in the relevant locality, will be able to be registered. Income means not only the wages of each member of the family and social payments, but also the value of their property, with the exception of real estate located in the JFO zone or Separate Districts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
The law came into force the day after the publication.
