On Saturday, August 18, the members of the special division of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, together with the servicemembers of the infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, intercepted smuggling for 642 thousand UAH. A car in which offenders wanted to transport the smuggled cargo was found near Verkhnetoretsky.

It is noted that around 9 o'clock in the evening the Ukrainian servicemember noticed the car AZLK-2141 abandoned in the field. Two men in the car left it and fled to the occupied territory of the Donbass.
During the search, 5,000 packs of cigarettes and plastic packaging containing 1.5 tons of liquid with a characteristic odor of alcohol were found inside the car. The smuggled cargo was seized and handed over for further verification and preparation of the protocol.
