Yesterday, on March 22, at a meeting of the Standing Committee of the City Council of Slavyansk on health, education, social and youth policy, deputies considered the issue of acquiring a mobile office for the Social Services Office, slavdelo.dn.ua reports.
According to Elena Alekhina, the head of the Social Services Office, the need to purchase a special car arose acutely after it became the responsibility of the staff of the department to carry out inspections of the living conditions in Slavyansk of the families of internally displaced persons, whom the special commission assigns subsidies.
Now 10 social management inspectors are engaged in this, the amount of work of which is truly enormous. For example, in 2018 they conducted more than 35 thousand such surveys.
It is noted that the inspectors did this by walking on foot or by public transport. In addition, Svyatogorsk, to which it is necessary to travel by bus, is also in the area of responsibility of employees.
The circumstances listed by Alekhina proved convincing for the deputies, who unanimously decided to recommend for consideration at the plenary session of the City Council of Slavyansk the question of buying a mobile office for the Social Services Office.
