Medical humanitarian supplies arrived in the Donbass from France yesterday as part of the strategic humanitarian aid “Help-East”. They were distributed to nursing homes for elderly and disabled in the Lugansk region. Soon, it is planned to provide medical humanitarian supplies to the hospitals of the Donetsk region.
That was announced today at the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation.
The staff noted that on June 20, supplies were given to the management of the nursing home in Mariinka. Today, on June 21, a certificate for humanitarian supplies was awarded to the director of the nursing home of Kremen.
Also, the staff of the JFO noted that under the “Help-East” initiative, the United forces has been repairing the infrastructure of the Donbass for 1.5 months, providing humanitarian medical assistance to civilians, and facilitating the children’s health. All these measures are taken with the help of civil-military cooperation units in close cooperation and with the support of the heads of the regional state administrations – primarily the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, as well as the Zaporozhye, Dnipropetrovsk, and Lviv regions.
It is noted that packages with diapers for adults, provided by the “Association of medical and charitable aid France-Ukraine”, are distributed among nursing homes for the elderly in the front zone and disabled people.
