On March 12, thirty winners of the All-Ukrainian educational project “Architect-2019” went to a four-day trip to Italy.
The competition was conducted by the Borys Kolesnikov Fund for students of specialized universities, talented young architects and builders. 1300 contestants took part in it, passed three qualifying stages. The best participants were awarded with a trip to an architectural tour to Milan and to the trade show Made Expo 2019.
Three students from the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture from Kramatorsk were among the lucky ones: Olga Milinteeva, Victoria Sikan and Artur Sukov.
In Italy, they will see Milan and its sights; visit the Made Expo 2019 forum, where they will learn about trends, news and innovations of the global architectural and construction industry. In addition, the guys will visit the architectural tour, in which master classes from Italian experts will be held on the streets of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
We recall that the Borys Kolesnikov Fund provides comprehensive support to technical students of Ukraine – conducts educational competitions, introduces youth programs, and encourages the best young professionals by traveling to foreign exhibitions.
The project “Architect” was implemented by the fund for the third time. In 2014, the winners of the competition visited the Architecture and Design Week in Japan, and in 2018 the group of students went on an architectural tour in Dubai.
