Little citizens with special educational needs of Mariupol received new textbooks.

At the school each child was provided with textbooks, where 250 pupils from the first to the ninth grade require a special approach. Previously, children had to deal with the usual school books.

According to the teachers, the design of ordinary school textbooks is not adapted for such children either by design or by filling. Now the guys got bright, interesting and understandable books.

“There were no illustrations for children who have no figurative thinking, so it’s hard for them to understand what is being said. Namely, what is a caftan, who is Khmelnitsky and what is the Cossacks,” – Sergey Krekinin, a teacher of the history of Ukraine, said.

First graders were also delighted with textbooks. Anna Borodina, a teacher of first-graders, noted that there was a lot of visual material in the manuals, and the syllables and letters go in a certain sequence, at first the easier ones, then more difficult ones. It makes the material available to children.
