The goal of the Regional State Administration in this regard is the following: further improvement and stimulation of the development of sports of the highest achievements in the region, increasing the effectiveness of coaches through moral and material encouragement to achieve high sports results, as well as involving veterans of physical education and sports in active participation in the competitions and sports-mass work.
In order to implement such a plan, a draft decree was prepared by the chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, the head of the Regional Civil-Military Administration for approval of the Regulation on scholarships for coaches and veterans of the region.
It is planned to pay 20 monthly scholarships for Olympic coaches in the amount of: 10 – two subsistence minimums and 10 – three subsistence minimums; five monthly scholarships for non-Olympic sports coaches – in the amount of two subsistence minimums; five monthly scholarships for coaches of athletes with special needs – in the amount of two subsistence minimums; five monthly scholarships for veterans of sports – in the amount of one subsistence minimum.
At the moment, funds are being sought for this financing. For the second half of this year, it is necessary to allocate 684.9 thousand UAH for these purposes.
