Throughout August, Ukraine significantly reduced its production of milk, sunflower oil and sausages. This is reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Compared with July 2018 in August, Ukrainian companies reduced the production of sunflower oil by 51.3%. In addition, milk production was decreased by almost 18%. The production of sausages was decreased by 58%.
The State Statistics Service noted that the production of confectionery products was increased by 1.7% during this period, spreads and mixes of fatty products were increased by 45.5% and yoghurts by 4.3%.
We recall that food prices in the consumer market were decreased by 0.6% in August. Most of all, vegetables and fruits have become cheaper by 10.5% and 6.2%. The cost of fish, meat, butter and dairy products was decreased by 0.4% -0.2%.
